You can lock and unlock the e-bikes using the Gaiyo app. Make sure you have an internet connection.

1. Open the reservation and click on “Start rental”. Please note: you must be near the bike to start the reservation.

2. Go through the check questions and click on “Start driving”.

3. Click on the gray “Lock” icon next to the bike and click Open.

4. Now unlock the lock or cable and you can start cycling.

Please note! It is important that you always insert the cable into the holder on top of the rear wheel after unlocking the lock, otherwise the e-bike will still think that the vehicle is locked. As a result, you will not be able to lock your e-bike at the end of your ride.

5. Have you arrived at your final destination? Find a return location via the app.

6. Click on “End rental,” follow the verification questions, and put your bike in lock mode to end your reservation.
